The Royal Enfield Bear 650 is a new premium scrambler motorcycle based on the Interceptor 650 platform, officially unveiled by Royal Enfield as one of its most awaited launches. In Nepal, Royal Enfield motorcycles are distributed by Alpha Automotive Pvt. Ltd. Although the Bear 650 has not yet been launched in Nepal, it is expected to arrive with an estimated price range of Rs. 10.5 - 11.5 Lakhs, considering the current pricing of the Interceptor 650 and Continental GT 650 in the Nepali market.
The Bear 650 complies with the latest BS6 Phase 2 emission norms and is offered internationally in five attractive colour options with different price points. Powering the Bear 650 is a 648cc air-cooled parallel-twin engine paired with fuel injection and a 6-speed gearbox. The motor produces a strong 46.8 bhp at 7,150 rpm and 56.5 Nm of torque at 5,150 rpm, making it the most torque-rich 650cc Royal Enfield yet. The motorcycle features a self-start-only ignition system, delivering effortless daily usability with serious scrambler character.
The Royal Enfield Bear 650 offers commanding real-world performance with its torquey 650cc parallel-twin engine. The strong low-end and mid-range torque make city riding relaxed and highway cruising effortless. With a top speed of around 165 kmph, the Bear 650 remains stable and planted even at higher speeds. The 6-speed transmission is smooth, and the wet multiplate clutch ensures light lever feel for long rides. The Royal Enfield Bear 650 is expected to launch in Nepal in 2025. Internationally, it is offered in four variants with different colour schemes and equipment levels. Based on current pricing, the estimated price range in Nepal will start from Rs. 10.5 Lakhs and go up to Rs. 11.5 Lakhs.
