The Naima Nepal Mobility Expo 2025, organised by the Nepal Automobile Importers and Manufacturers Association (Naima), has been extended by one day and will now run until Monday. Organisers said the decision was made after a surge in visitors exceeded expectations, with attendance crossing 21,500 in a single day.
One-Day Extension After Strong Public Demand
Originally scheduled as a five-day event, the expo will now conclude on February 10, 2025.
“We decided to extend the expo to accommodate the growing crowd and provide more time for those who couldn’t attend earlier,” organisers said in a statement.
The exhibition continued uninterrupted on Saturday despite heavy rain. Many visitors who could not make it during weekdays attended over the weekend, significantly boosting attendance.
Visitor Turnout Figures
The first four days saw large and diverse audiences, including members of the public, senior artists, diplomats, government and non-government officials, and traders.
Daily attendance numbers:
- Day 1: 15,000 visitors
- Day 2: 13,500 visitors
- Day 3: 19,500 visitors
- Day 4 (Saturday): Over 21,500 visitors
