Priced at Rs. 60.99 Lakh in Nepal, the Jaecoo J5 is a premium mid-size electric SUV recently launched by SPG Automobiles Pvt. Ltd., the authorized distributor of Omoda & Jaecoo in Nepal. Unveiled at the NAIMA Nepal Mobility Expo 2025, the J5 combines bold design, advanced safety features, and impressive performance, making it a strong contender in the growing EV market. Powered by a 155 kW electric motor delivering 207 hp and 288 Nm of torque, and paired with a 58.9 kWh CATL LFP battery, it offers a claimed range of up to 461 kilometers, ideal for both city commutes and weekend trips across Nepal’s diverse terrain. The J5 supports a 3.3 kW charging system and reaches a top speed of 150 kmph. Its striking exterior features include LED headlights, a transparent front grille with the Jaecoo logo, a full-width rear LED lamp, and stylish 18-inch alloy wheels. Inside, it boasts a tech-rich cabin with dual-zone climate control, multi-color ambient lighting, ventilated and heated front seats, a panoramic sunroof, and a 5-seater layout with ample storage space.
