The 2025 version of this best-selling motorcycle has been spotted in India, and it looks like it’s getting a front disc brake upgrade. This means better braking power, improved safety, and an overall smoother ride. And guess what? It’s only a matter of time before it lands in Nepal!
What’s New in the 2025 Hero Splendor Plus?
Front Disc Brake: Finally! The new model is expected to get a front disc brake, similar to what we’ve seen on the Splendor Plus Xtec. This is a big deal because the current version only has drum brakes. With better stopping power, riding through Kathmandu’s busy streets or winding roads outside the valley will feel much safer. The rear, however, will still have a drum brake.
New Colors: If you’re into stylish rides, you’ll love the new paint options. Two shades have been spotted—one is a bold red with golden decals, and the other is a sleek grey finish. These fresh looks will definitely turn heads on the roads of Nepal!
Same Reliable Engine: The bike will still pack the same 97.2cc air-cooled engine, delivering 7.91 bhp and 8.05 Nm of torque with a four-speed gearbox. Nothing major is changing under the hood, but it will now comply with OBD-2B emission norms, making it more eco-friendly.
What About the Price in Nepal?
In India, the 2025 Hero Splendor Plus is priced between INR 77,176 and INR 79,926 (around NPR 1.23 lakh to 1.28 lakh). With the new upgrades, we can expect a slight price hike when it arrives in Nepal, but it should still remain an affordable, fuel-efficient commuter bike.
When Will It Arrive in Nepal?
There’s no official confirmation yet, but given how popular the Splendor Plus is here, we can expect Hero to bring it to Nepal within a few months after the Indian launch. So if you’re planning to buy a new bike, you might want to wait for this one!
