Kathmandu, Nepal - One of the most awaited premium electric vehicles of the year, the Maxus Mifa 7, is all set to make its official debut in Nepal at the NAIMA Nepal Mobility Expo 2025, happening on 21st Shrawan in Kathmandu. This marks the first appearance of the Mifa 7 in the Nepali market, and it promises to be a game-changer in the premium electric MPV segment.

The Maxus Mifa 7 is a flagship 7-seater luxury MPV from Maxus, a global sub-brand under the Chinese automotive giant SAIC Motor Corporation. In Nepal, the vehicle will be introduced by Himalayan MotorX, a division of the Himalayan Organization, which has been importing international automotive brands for over 30 years.

Powered by a 180 kW electric motor delivering 241 bhp and 350 Nm of torque, the Mifa 7 is equipped with a high-performance 90 kWh battery, offering a maximum range of 635 km (NEDC) or 570 km (WLTP) on a single charge. It supports ultra-fast 130 kW DC charging, which can boost the battery from 30% to 80% in just 30 minutes, along with an 11 kW AC charger that charges fully in 8.5 hours.

Built for premium comfort and modern lifestyles, the Mifa 7 comes packed with futuristic features like dual 12.3-inch digital displays, ventilated and massaging front seats, wireless phone charging, panoramic sunroof, and power sliding doors on both sides. It also includes 360-degree cameras, ADAS safety features like lane keeping assist, adaptive cruise control, blind spot monitoring, and has received 5-star safety ratings from Euro NCAP, C-NCAP, and A-NCAP.

Himalayan MotorX confirmed that buyers will receive 8 years or 200,000 km warranty on the battery and 5 years or 100,000 km warranty on the electric motor, reinforcing confidence in its long-term ownership.

While the official price of the Maxus Mifa 7 in Nepal will be announced during the Expo, it is expected to be priced between Rs. 95 Lakhs to Rs. 1.25 Crore, depending on the variant. Variants include Comfort, Long Range, and Luxury, each offering different battery capacities and features.
