The Hyundai Creta, distributed in Nepal by Laxmi Intercontinental Pvt. Ltd., has received a major breakthrough in 2025 with the launch of the Made-in-Nepal (assembled) facelift model. Thanks to local assembly, the Creta now comes with a significantly reduced price, starting at Rs. 53.96 Lakhs and going up to Rs. 78.96 Lakhs, making it one of the best-value premium SUVs in the segment. The 2024 facelift update introduced a bold new exterior redesign, redesigned LED lighting, improved build quality, and a more premium interior layout. The Creta complies with the BS6 emission standard and continues to be offered exclusively with the refined 1.5L MPi Petrol Engine.
Under the hood, the 1.5L naturally aspirated petrol engine produces 115 PS of power and 143.8 Nm of torque, paired with either a 6-speed Manual or an Intelligent Variable Transmission (IVT). With a cooling-efficient layout and reliable starting mechanism, the Creta maintains its reputation as a refined and fuel-efficient compact SUV tailored for Nepali roads.
The Hyundai Creta delivers a smooth, refined, and confident driving experience. Its 1.5L MPi Petrol Engine offers balanced performance with excellent NVH levels, making it ideal for both urban commutes and highway drives. With a 6-speed manual or IVT automatic, the Creta ensures responsive gear shifts and efficient power delivery. The SUV accelerates from 0-100 km/h in around 12.2 seconds (MT) and 13.36 seconds (IVT), while achieving a top speed of 195 km/h. Drive modes Eco, Comfort, and Sport allow drivers to tailor the car’s behavior, and the Traction Control Modes (Snow, Mud, Sand) further enhance stability on diverse Nepali terrains.
The 2025 Creta facelift brings a more commanding and futuristic look. The front features Square-shaped LED DRLs, Quad-Beam LED Headlamps, and a muscular Parametric Jewel Grille giving it a premium road presence. The sides remain clean and elegant with redesigned alloy wheels and signature Lightning Arch C-Pillar. At the rear, new connected LED tail lamps, sequential indicators, and a redesigned bumper with gunmetal accents create a more cohesive, modern SUV profile. Overall, the facelift embraces boldness while maintaining Creta’s signature sophistication.
Hyundai has equipped the Creta with a long list of advanced features, including ADAS Level 2, a premium digital cockpit, and improved safety systems. The SUV is designed to offer confidence on Nepali roads with features like ESC, VSM, Hill Start Assist, and a 360-degree camera. Practical additions such as Dual Zone Climate Control, Ventilated Seats, and a Panoramic Sunroof make it one of the most feature-rich SUVs in its price segment.
Inside, the Creta facelift feels more premium and futuristic than ever. The dashboard adopts a wider horizontal design with dual 10.25-inch screens, enhancing visibility and usability. Soft-touch materials, updated seat upholstery, copper accents, and a modern two-spoke steering wheel elevate cabin ambiance. Features like ventilated seats, dual-zone climate control, and a spacious 433L boot ensure comfort for both drivers and passengers. With generous cabin space and enhanced ergonomics, the Creta remains one of the most comfortable 5-seater SUVs in Nepal.
The Hyundai Creta is now available in five “Assembled in Nepal” trims, offering better affordability and availability. Meanwhile, the imported Made-in-India trims are still on sale until stock lasts but come at a slightly higher price. Customers can also find a few remaining units of the 2023 models at discounted rates.
