The Deepal E07, officially introduced in Nepal by MAW Vriddhi AutoCorp, is a bold step forward in the electric SUV market. Priced between Rs. 99.99 Lakhs and Rs. 1.99 Crores, the E07 merges luxury, performance, and futuristic utility in one stunning package. It stands out not just for its powerful drivetrain and intelligent tech but also for its transformer-like retractable trunk—a design that seamlessly switches the E07 from a sleek SUV to a practical pickup truck.

Built by Changan’s new energy brand Nevo, the E07 comes in two performance variants: Rear-Wheel Drive (RWD) and All-Wheel Drive (AWD). Both are powered by a Ternary Lithium 89.98 kWh battery, offering up to 566 Km range (WLTP) and top speeds up to 210 km/h. The RWD variant features a 190 kW motor (258 PS) while the AWD packs a massive 440 kW dual-motor setup (598 PS). This all-electric marvel also features Level 2+ autonomous driving, adjustable air suspension, and a high-tech minimal interior with a 15.4-inch adjustable screen and 28.86-inch heads-up display.

Deepal E07 Performance

The Deepal E07 is engineered for electric performance with a distinct focus on power and range. The RWD model delivers 258 PS and 365 Nm of torque, accelerating from 0-100 km/h in just 7.1 seconds. The AWD model, however, takes performance to a new level—boasting 598 PS, 645 Nm, and sprinting to 100 km/h in 4 seconds. It operates on an 800V platform, enabling ultra-fast charging at speeds up to 240 kW, although most Nepali chargers will max out at 60 kW. With impressive road grip from its 21-inch tyres, responsive torque, and air suspension in AWD, the E07 offers a truly dynamic and luxurious driving experience.

The Deepal E07 merges futuristic aesthetics with functional elegance. Often referred to as a “Chinese Cybertruck,” the E07 features slim ‘C’-shaped LED DRLs, a smooth coupe-like silhouette, and a massive frunk (front trunk) for added storage. At the rear, it hides a clever trick—the retractable trunk mechanism transforms the SUV into a compact pickup. It stands on striking 21-inch 3-spoke alloy wheels and carries the proportions of a high-end executive SUV with a dash of innovation.

Deepal E07 Safety & Features

The E07 goes beyond conventional safety. It includes Level 2+ Autonomous Driving, multiple advanced driver-assist features, and an array of sensors and cameras. The AWD variant benefits from adaptive air suspension, while features like DMS (Driver Monitoring System) and TPMS (Tire Pressure Monitoring System) enhance safety for daily drives and long hauls alike.

The Deepal E07 is now available in two variants in Nepal: Rear-Wheel Drive (RWD) and All-Wheel Drive (AWD). The RWD variant is currently being offered at an introductory price of Rs. 99,99,000, which is set to increase to Rs. 1,03,99,000.
